You may have heard about our specialised Cut5 range, but what exactly is Cut5?
Cut5 refers to the level of cut resistance a product has. Level 5 providing the highest protection, level 1 being the lowest. The most widely used and latest standard to test gloves is EN388:2016+A1:2018. Along with cut resistance, EN388:2016+A1:2018 also tests levels of protection against abrasion, tear and puncture.

The Dromex Cut5 range includes body and arm protection in addition to a wide variety of gloves. All of which are made with Cut5 fibre and designed and tested to level 5 cut resistance. Cut5 fibre is a high performance composite fibre which is engineered from core material produced in Germany.
