Dromex 70 Cal Arc Switching Gloves are 37cm royal blue, flame retardant gloves. Designed to protect the user from hazards of heat and reduce total burn injury when working in environments where the user is exposed to electric arc hazards. Dromex 70 Cal Arc rated Switching Gloves are suitable for use in category 1, 2, 3 and 4 ARC related hazards when worn with Arc flash protective clothing and equipment. Suitable for use in industries where users are exposed to high voltage arc blasts. These industries include power companies, installation companies or maintenance companies. Another suitable environment includes repairs involving high voltage equipment. Made from 88% Cotton and 12% Nylon. Available in sizes M/L as well as L/XL. Sold individually.

The Dromex Arc flash protective switching gloves have an elasticated shirred cuff for an ideal fit. Double needle topstitching on the elastic and hems ensures that the gloves are highly durable. A Gunn cut construction provides larger surface area and improved grip and comfort. These gloves have a Dromex Arc heat transfer print on them for identification. Dromex A.P.T fabrics are self extinguishing, heat resistant and resistant to ignition. Sewn with flame retardant thread throughout. Special Instructions: for electric arc exposures, wear the correct number of flame resistant clothing layers as specified by an electric arc analyst. Proper grounding procedures are to be used for protection against electrostatic spark ignition when in potentially explosive environments. Do not put on or remove these gloves when in a potentially explosive environment.
