It’s been a busy year so far at Dromex and we’ve introduced so many new and improved PPE & workwear products. Here’s a run down of all of our new products and what makes them so special. Take a read:
Thor Electrical Insulating Gloves
Dromex Thor electrical insulating gloves are new to the hand protection range. These are made from high quality rubber latex and provide protection against the hazards of an electric shock when in contact with energized electrical parts and equipment.
These gloves are intended for electrical installations, maintenance and repairs. Each glove has a unique number and is electrically tested on a computer-controlled test bench. After testing each examination certificate is attached to the respective glove.
These gloves are available in four classes defining voltage requirements from Class 0 (low voltage) up to Class 3 (high voltage).
Dromex Hard Hat
Our Dromex Hard Hat is another new product that we are proud to add to our range of PPE. Made from Polypropylene Copolymer it is lightweight & comfortable making it great for prolonged use. This hard hat provides much needed protection against falling objects and head impact in the workplace. In addition, it is designed to ensure maximum visibility and sturdiness. This innovative hard hat has an array of features such as:
- Retractable ventilation holes
- Ratchet type adjustment for easy fitment
- 2-Point adjustable webbed polyester chin strap
- Side slots for fitment of face & hearing PPE
- 8-point with attachment and shell for optimum shock absorption
- Complies with the requirements of SANS 1397:2003, Industrial Safety Helmets
- Certified to EN 397:2012+A1:2012, Industrial Safety Helmets
- MASC 20-8361 approved, Mining and Surface Certified as per 2015/021934/07
- CE Approved
Available in red, orange, yellow, green, blue, dark blue, white & grey.
65/35 Conti Suit (SANS 434 Fit)
The all new and improved 65/35 Polycotton twill 235gsm Conti Suit is here and ready to provide you with hours of comfort and quality. This conti suit stands out from the rest as a result of it\’s conformity to SANS 434 cut, fit and construction. Available separately as jacket and pants.
The 65% Polyester – 35% Cotton blend fabric combines both the sturdiness and colour-fastness of Polyester with the comfort of Cotton to bring you workwear garments that last.
Produced locally at our SABS approved manufacturing facility Dromex Globale. Available in navy blue & royal blue.
Golfers
New to our workwear range is the Dromex Pique Knit Golfer. This is a breathable, lightweight golf shirt that will ensure maximum comfort all day long.
Made from 100% Polyester 165gsm fabric the Dromex Golfer is durable, has great colour retention & high tear resistance. Available in sizes XS – 5XL.
Pair our golfer with the Dromex Denim Jeans for a smarter workwear look. Dromex Golfers can be worn in all environments from the office, to the warehouse and even on the golf course.
Available in black, grey, white, navy blue, red as well as royal blue.
Disposable Corded Earplugs
New to the hearing protection range are the Dromex DR-099C high visibility disposable corded earplugs. Made from PU (Polyurethane) foam they are extremely soft & pliable making them easy to insert, lightweight and comfortable for long-term wear. Their T-shaped design ensures optimum protection and comfort of the ear canal, offering the highest level of protection against noise hazards.
Suitable for use in environments such as machining, grinding, steel cutting and woodwork. Tested according to EN 352-2:2002.

Navy Blue Reflective Long Sleeve Shirt
Dromex 100% Cotton high visibility long sleeve, reflective work shirts are now available in NAVY BLUE. With a vented yoke for breathability and a relaxed fit these reflective shirts are definitely a workwear essential, especially for those working in warmer environments. Other key features include:
- 100% Cotton, natural fibres
- 48mm Silver reflective tape
- Double needle top-stitching on all pockets
Also available in yellow/navy and orange/navy.
